MH Congrats! New Baby!
My friends at Marriage Heat….As I’m sure most of you are aware from my previous posts, my wife and I have been expecting our first child this year.
Well, I just wanted to let you know that the baby was delivered and everyone is doing great. She was actually born on September 8th, but I’ve been so busy with baby stuff the last two weeks that I haven’t had a chance to get on here and announce it.
I also wanted to thank you for your prayers. We had a couple of little bumps in the road but we were able to deal with it. My wife’s blood pressure gave her some problems and they were concerned about that. She wanted to deliver vaginally, but she only dilated to a 5. It was 18 hours after they induced her that the doctor said she wasn’t progressing so he ordered a C-section. But once we got in there things went routinely and we had a new daughter. 7 pounds 4 ounces at birth.
We have been having a lot of fun with her. We fell in love with her immediately and we just want to sit and hold her and stare at her all the time! I’m sure those of you who are parents can relate to this, but this has changed us. We never knew we could feel love like this. We feel so blessed and we are so excited.

Wow! I had a very similar experience with labor, only dilating to five as well with my first little one and needing a c-section after a very hard and painful labor. Tell you wife I will be praying for her and I know just how it can be emotionally difficult to come out of an experience like that! Congratulations on the new baby girl, you two! So true how you said it makes you feel love in new and extraordinary ways. It is so incredible! God bless you both and much joy all over MH I am sure to hear the good news that Mom and baby are both healthy.
